Benton Fine Art is a Cotswold based gallery, established in 1972 and run by Matthew Benton and his father Jeffrey Benton. Matthew’s wife Nicola has also recently joined the business. As a family run gallery, we have developed long term relationships with many clients over the past 50 years. These include interior designers, hotels, corporate businesses as well as private and trade individuals, both at home and internationally.

We always aim to carry a range of quality items from the 19th to early 20th century, with a variety of subjects from landscapes to seascapes, genre, still life and portraits. With over 80 years’ experience between us, you can be sure that our fine selection of paintings and sculpture have been carefully chosen for their subject, condition and price.

For over a decade we have been members of two well-known and established trade associations the British Antique Dealers Association (BADA) and the Association of Art & Antique Dealers (LAPADA). Both of these associations carefully vet their members for their experience and knowledge and have strict codes of conduct which we abide by. Being a member of both the BADA and LAPADA trade organisations offers you the reassurance that you can buy from us, whether online or in person, with complete confidence.
